How do I order for my school or educational institution?

We love working with schools!

Fill our contact form and our team will be in touch to coordinate everything you need; from choosing the right costumes, to invoicing and customer service support.

How can I choose the correct size?

Please refer to our size chart for our recommended sizing based on your dancers measurements.

Do I need to be a studio owner to order from Studio Emporium?

Yes.
Studio Emporium is a wholesale-only supplier to approved business accounts (also called Studio Emporium memberships). We work with dance studios, performing arts schools, and educational institutions. You’ll need a valid ABN and business details to apply.

How do I apply for a Studio Emporium Membership?

You can apply online. Once you submit your application, we aim to review and approve within 7 business days. We may ask for your ABN, website, social presence, or details about your studio.

How much does it cost to become a Studio Emporium member?

Nothing! It’s completely free to become a member.

Can I customise a costume?

We offer both standard and custom costumes. The costumes designs on our website are standard and are not able to be altered. However, Studio Emporium offers a fabulous custom design service called 'Studio Custom’. We’re ready to bring your costume dreams to life! Do you offer sizing help?

We have a detailed sizing chart you can refer to. Please note that our standard costume sizing and custom costume sizing is different. Please refer to the appropriate chart. You can also request sizing kits for your studio (fees apply). Need advice? We love chatting about fit, stretch, and stage presence!

Do you offer express shipping?

Yes. Express shipping refers to the delivery — not production time. It refers to the time the the costumes take to reach you when they leave our warehouse.

Is pricing confidential?

Yes. As a Studio Emporium member, you’ll have access to exclusive wholesale pricing. This pricing is confidential and must not be shared publicly, on websites, social media, or with non-members. Breach of this policy may result in account termination.



Do you restock styles?

Most of our costumes are made-to-order, so we recommend ordering early. Occasionally, we restock high-demand items. Keep an eye on our emails and socials!



Can I return or exchange a costume?

Of course! We understand things don’t always go to plan! If something’s not quite right, we’re happy to help with an exchange or store credit. Just make sure your item meets our return conditions (outlined below), and we’ll get you sorted.

How do I request a return or exchange?

It’s easy! Just email us at costumes@studioemporium.com.au
with “Return Application” in the subject line.

Please include:

The item number

The name of the person who purchased it

A quick note about why you'd like to return it

Once your return is approved, we’ll send you a return authorisation number and instructions on what to do next.

What are the return conditions?

To be eligible for a return or exchange:

- Items must be returned within 14 days of receiving them

- They must be unworn, unwashed, and in perfect condition

- Tags should still be attached.

- Packaging must be intact and undamaged

- Items must not have been worn for a performance, recital, or event

A few items can’t be returned unless faulty:

Sale items

Hosiery (for hygiene reasons)

Ballet shoes with drawstrings already pulled

International orders

What about return shipping and fees?

We’ll always do our best to make returns and exchanges easy — but since all of our costumes are made to order, a few small fees do apply:

Return shipping is at the customer’s expense

A 20% restocking fee applies to exchanges and store credit to help cover
handling

You’ll receive a quick invoice to cover return shipping (if applicable) and the restocking fee — and once that’s paid, we’ll ship your replacement or issue your store credit

We totally understand returns aren’t always fun — if you’re unsure, just reach out. We’re here to help.

What if the item is faulty or damaged?

We’re proud of the quality of our costumes, but if something isn’t right, please get in touch as soon as possible. If your item has a manufacturing fault or isn’t as described, we’ll sort it out promptly, in line with Australian Consumer Law.
